Apl.de.ap Foundation


Apl.de.ap is a Filipino American musician, rapper, record producer, entrepreneur & philanthropist best known as a co-founder/member of the Grammy Award-winning hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas born in the province of Pampanga. Apl has used his position to create the Apl.de.ap Foundation which focuses on supporting youth to grant opportunities through arts, technology, and healthcare in the Philippines. He has built over 30 classrooms through some of the poorest and violent stricken regions of the country as well as offered scholarships to students of his local province. Apl has also spearheaded the Apple of My Eye Program, which helped put retinal cameras in provinces outside of Manila to help combat early stage blindness amongst the youth.
